Important Definitions

Etches - Dull or white spots in the surface finish caused by acidic spills. cleaners or chemicals dissolving and pitting the surface.

Mold & Mildew - Black spots caused by the growth of mold and algae in damp areas on or behind a tile. Mold & Mildew Remover is for you.

Stains - Colored spots caused by the absorption of a colored liquid or chemical interaction. Stain Removal Guide can assist here. Often acid etches caused by acidic spills such as juices are etches, areas where the stone has been physically dissolved. These elements will require Marble Polish, Etch & Ring Remover to remove.
